The Grattan Institute outlined three phases toward a successful transition to net zero.

 

Greenhouse gas emissions from Australia’s National Electricity Market (NEM) have fallen 28 per cent since 2016, supply is reliable apart from storm-related disruptions, and consumer prices have been falling.

One could be forgiven for concluding that the great energy transition is roaring ahead. The truth is that the transition is doable, but a careful assessment suggests reasons for caution if not concern.  Read full article here.
