Throughout the year the FMA, in conjunction with industry stakeholders, develops a range of professional development and training courses.
Professional Development & Training
- Online and in person training & customised courses designed to enhance the development of competencies required for the FM professional and best practice techniques. These courses can also be customised to align with your organisation, its policies and using its case studies to enhance your team's understanding and skills application.
- Workshops: these are held at least annually with a focus on an industry-specific topic.
- Formal courses: these include the FMA developed Diploma of Facilities Management as well as a number of other courses available through tertiary education providers.

This interactive training program is delivered by an experienced trainer. You will be offered practical guidance to assist in effectively managing key facilities risk issues, whilst also considering the strategic and operational issues.
