$230 Million for SA Desalination Project
The Federal Government has allocated funds for a provisional investigation into the feasibility of a desalination project that will mostly benefit rural and country areas of South Australia.
Powered renewably, the intent is for the plant to desalinate water from the Spencer Gulf while lessening the current pressure on water stocks in along the Murray River.
