Billions for Buildings for NSW Public Schools

Public schools at all levels, all across New South Wales will be part of a $1.08 billion State Budget boon as part of a long-term plan to enhance the education system. Consultation and planning is already well underway, with many schools seeing improvements within weeks. General maintenance is the main focus of the allocation, with well over half of the financial outlay going to modernisation and functionality works with another $200 million to small-scale refurbishments. Over $150 million will go to disability access improvements.
