100% Renewable Electricity

The City of Sydney and Business Renewables Centre Australia has published two guides to support businesses to switch to 100% renewable electricity and reduce the uncertainty of volatile electricity costs.  As you are aware, there has been a gap in the market for accessible 100% renewable electricity options and many businesses lack the internal resources to navigate the complexities of the energy market.  These guides remove key barriers in the procurement process and empower decision makers to make the switch.

The guides were designed and delivered for the Renewables for Business Masterclass Series, in partnership with the Business Renewables Centre Australia,  GreenPower, CitySwitch and the Sustainable Destination Partnership.  The Renewables Masterclass Series was delivered from March-June 2023 across two face to face events and four webinars. 

In total 168 businesses were represented at the events including CBRE, Australian Legal Sector Alliance, Marriot, Powerhouse Museum, Australia Post and Wesfarmers. Read how Domain switched to GreenPower.
